Hello, Boo here. We have had an eventful couple of weeks, what with both of us going to the vet for various reasons. I have a really bad seasonal allergy which has gone haywire over the last few months - I was licking all the fur off my back and had to see a dermatologist, then I had to be sedated and have a skin test to work out what I was allergic to... and now I have to have twice weekly injections for 2 months of a vaccine which was developed just for me! And today my human learnt how to give me the injection (and I didn't even flinch!). The worst part about the whole thing is that I had to spend an hour in the carrier while we drove there and back - I do NOT like going in the carrier.
The Menace got into a fight the other day - had a big scratch on his head, and was limping a bit so has had a week's worth of antibiotics and has to go back in a week to get his annual vaccination. He doesn't like going in the carrier either.
But the good news is that we are both fine, and my fur should be growing back nicely soon! Meow :)

The Spooky One
Purr, my name's Boo and I'm 6 & a half...
My human found me at the RSPCA shelter as she wanted a companion for the Menace. I was only a weeny little baby but I had a HUGE appetite, and made my human laugh as I ate all the food in the pen and left nothing for the other kittens. I couldn't meow to start with, instead I used to purr loudly and I could only squeak so I was almost called Minnie as I was like a little mouse (and I looked a bit like Minnie Mouse with my huge black ears and white socks) but instead I was called Boo because I was completely un-scary.
I am also known as: Boo-key, Pooky, Miss Boo, Kitty-Girl, Princess, Precious, Poppet, Little One, Sweet Pea, Spooky, Little Boo, Little Miss, Baby Girl, and Sweetness :o)
I enjoy; sitting in front of the heater, chasing and eating lizards, grooming myself, hiding, climbing, boxes, clawing carpets, investigating the shopping when the human gets home from the supermarket, being cuddly (in winter), looking evil in photos, and (as per picture) watching Australian Idol!
I don't enjoy; being put into a carrier, eating quickly or all in one sitting, other strange cats in my garden, being picked up when I don't want to be, or finding Geordie in all my favourite spots around the house!
We hope you enjoy our blog - we have lots of pictures to share and get up to some crazy stuff... as only cats can :o)
The Orange Menace
Meow, I'm Geordie and I'm 7 years young. I am a very big boy as gingers often are (and a bit fat as well, oops!) and it's hard to believe I was once an itty-bitty-kitty. My human's dad rescued me and sent me on a plane from Rockhampton to Brisbane, where my human collected me from the airport. I had beautiful blue eyes (which are now gold) and I was very talkative, but I didn't purr much. Nowadays I purr like an engine and I don't have an off-switch! I am a cranky bugger sometimes but also a really big sook and I REALLY like my cuddles.
I am also known as: Geords, Geordski, Geordie-catticus, Snooks, Schnookies, Fatty, Tigger, Ginger, Cranky-pants, Bubby-cat, Claws, Fat Bastard, and " Stop Clawing That" !!
I enjoy: cleaning my paws, rolling on warm concrete, scratching furniture instead of my post, eating, sleeping, meowing loudly, sneaking outside in the evening when I'm not allowed and then sitting out of reach to cast mocking glances back at my human, constantly sitting on or leaning on my human at ALL times, and clawing all humans who dare to touch my tail.
I don't enjoy: going to the vet, having baths, being carried around, going in the car, people petting me on my legs or tail, loud noises, or unfamiliar humans coming into MY house.
Every house needs a Ginger!!
